About Us

History

Flight Structures was founded in October 2003 by Jon Kerr and Richard Andrews.  With specialist skills in the design and certification of aircraft structures, their objective was to create a company that had the capacity to provide a new level of aeronautical engineering services to the quickly growing aviation industry in New Zealand.

Flight Structures has a genuine interest in supporting all aviation sectors throughout the country.   This approach has led to loyalty from our customer base, enabling us to grow and develop.

Flight Structures is now the largest independent design organisation in the NZ aviation sector.  We employ a wide range of technical specialists which gives us the capacity to take on large international contracts and provide full time engineering support to large engineering firms and manufacturing companies.
