History

Flight Structures was started in October 2003 by two aircraft design and certification engineers, Richard Andrews and Jon Kerr. With specialist skills in the design and certification of aircraft structures, their objective was to create a company that provides high quality design and certification services to the aviation industry.

The business model obviously works as Flight Structures has steadily grown, increasing its engineering capacity and taking on increasingly larger and more sophisticated design and certification tasks.

With offices in Hamilton and Auckland, Flight Structures now works with leading companies in the New Zealand aviation industry including Airwork NZ, Pacific Aerospace, Eagle Airways, and Helicopters New Zealand.
