The Leonardo AW169 is a new rotorcraft with leading edge avionics that is ideal for EMS roles. With a spacious cabin there is room for clinical staff to treat patients in flight. RULS (Rotorcraft Utility Loading System)   The RULS was designed around the Zero Lift Principal to ease the workload for crew. The stretcher is in a longitudinal position during flight to enable the best patient care, and rotates to transverse for loading from a stretcher trolley. Oxygen System   The oxygen bottle storage provides 500 litre capacity with cabin outlets, monitoring and control and two ceiling mounted outlets.  Medical Oxygen is provided by an O2 Bottle remotely stored, with access through an external door.  The Oxygen System is STC Approved.

Stretcher Bridge   The Stretcher Bridge allows medical crew to view monitors and access equipment in flight and on the ground. The cantilever design means patients can be uploaded to the stretcher without removal of aero medical equipment.
